American Express owes much of its success to its highly engaged workforce. Employees are consistently and publicly recognized for exceeding customer expectations and living company values. Patterned after its membership reward points for card-carrying customers, managers use Reward Blue, a globalized and standardized tool, to recognize and award points to employees that distinguish themselves.
